This means that you can create <em>non-linear islands<\/em> inside EPUB3. The user will not read those <em>islands<\/em> until a hypertext will allow him to access the <em>hidden<\/em> text. Unfortunately the <em>island<\/em> has not a <em>cul de sac<\/em> at the end of the file: if you read all the content of a <em>hidden<\/em> chapter and &#8211; after &#8211; you turn the page, you\u2019ll exit the island and fall back in linear reading. It is a good news anyway. The next move is now in the hands of Apple: Ibooks has got a awful support of <code>linear=\"no\"<\/code>: the hidden chapter become a web page (?) with (bugged) scrolling. No way to change font size and no way to save the state of reading.<\/p>\r\n<p>So, come on, we need more and more tools for build non-linear ebooks.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3>Adobe Digital Edition aggiunge supporto per lettura non lineare in EPUB3<\/h3>\r\n\r\n<p>Non so se qualcuno ne ha parlato prima, ma ho notato che <strong>Adobe Digital Edition 4 aggiunge il supporto per l&#8217;attributo <code>linear=\"no\"<\/code> per EPUB3<\/strong>. Ci\u00f2 significa che \u00e8 possibile creare <em>isole non lineari<\/em> all&#8217;interno di EPUB3. L&#8217;utente non legger\u00e0 quelle isole fino a quando un ipertesto gli permetter\u00e0 di accedere al testo nascosto. Purtroppo l&#8217;isola non ha un <em>cul de sac<\/em> alla fine del file: se si legge tutto il contenuto di un <em>capitolo nascosto<\/em> e si gira ancora pagina, si uscir\u00e0 dall&#8217;isola e si finir\u00e0 nel flusso principale della lettura lineare. Comunque \u00e8 una buona notizia. La prossima mossa \u00e8 ora nelle mani di Apple: Ibooks ha un supporto terribile del <code>linear=\"no\"<\/code>: il capitolo nascosto diventa una pagina web (?) con scrolling (buggato).
