Why the title just half a bit?

– Because I am not under the illusion that my posts will change the world; I just try to give my tiny contribution to the diffusion of knowledge (as I have done professionally for many years).

– Because I will sometimes write about optimization: when resources are very scarce, even the smallest gain becomes important.

– Because in the Disney version of Alice in Wonderland, the request just half a cup is satisfied by slicing the cup vertically. I love original, creative, slightly crazy solutions.
